As we congratulate the blessed Eid al-Ghadir and mark the 37th anniversary of the heartbreaking passing of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (may God sanctify his pure soul), we hereby inform the great nation of Iran, the free peoples of the world, and all those who hold dear the memory of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul), that the necessary arrangements for a dignified farewell, funeral procession, and burial of our mujahid martyred Imam are currently being made by the responsible authorities and popular groups. Accordingly, rumors and media speculation about the details of this event are unfounded.

The programs, media-related measures, and further details of this historic event will be announced in subsequent statements by the Committee for the Commemoration of the Ascension of the Mujahid Martyr Imam Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul), God willing.
