A memorial gathering for the eminent Marja' of the Shia world and the great Leader of the Islamic Ummah, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul), and his martyred family members, was held on Saturday, July 18, after the Maghrib and Isha prayers in the Imam Khomeini (ra) prayer hall at the holy shrine of Lady Masoumah (pbuh) in Qom. The ceremony was organized by international institutions including Al-Mustafa International University, the International Department of the Management Center of Islamic Seminaries, the World Forum for the Approximation of Islamic Schools of Thought, the Ahl al-Bayt (pbut) World Assembly, the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, and the Office of the Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.
