In the early hours of Friday, July 10, 2026, the pure body of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul), was laid to rest in the Dar al-Dhikr hall of the sacred shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh). This followed an unprecedented and unparalleled series of funeral processions and farewell ceremonies held across several cities in Iran and Iraq — namely Tehran, Qom, Karbala, Najaf, and Mashhad — with tens of millions of mourners in attendance.
Since the evening of Friday, July 10, 2026, following the burial of the martyred Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei and his martyred family members in the Dar al-Dhikr hall of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh), mourners have been able to pay their respects. Crowds of devotees of the Leader of the Truth-Seekers of the World have since gathered at the sacred resting place in the Dar al-Dhikr hall.
