Funeral procession and prayer over the pure body of the martyred Leader in Mashhad

The reception and funeral procession for the pure body of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, and his martyred family members, began at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, from Imam Reza (pbuh) Street toward the holy shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh).

The funeral prayer over the pure body of the the Leader of Truth-Seekers of the World and the eminent Marja' of the Shia world, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may his station be exalted), was held on the evening of Thursday, July 9, 2026, led by Ayatollah Haj Sayyid Mostafa Hosseini Khamenei, the eldest son of the martyred Leader, with the mourning masses in attendance at the Courtyard of the Great Prophet (pbuh) at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (pbuh).
