Tuesday is the first day of the month of Muharram 1448 AH

The office of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution has announced that the sighting of the Muharram crescent was confirmed by specialized observation groups on the evening of Monday, June 15, 2026. Accordingly, the month of Dhul-Hijjah will be 29 days, and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, will be the first day of the sacred month of Muharram, 1448 AH.
