Announcement No. 4 of the Committee for the Commemoration of the Ascension of the Mujahid Martyr Imam, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul)

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Peace be upon you, O Tharallah [the Blood of God] and the son of His blood!

Simultaneously with the arrival of the month of Muharram – the month of the victory of blood over the sword and the days of mourning for the Master and Leader of all freedom-seekers around the world, the Master of the Martyrs [Imam Hussain (pbuh)] and his loyal companions – and on the eve of the farewell, funeral procession, and burial ceremonies for the mujahid and martyred Imam, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul), as well as the martyred members of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s family, we hereby announce the thematic direction and the propagational and outreach approaches for this event to the noble Iranian nation and the devoted followers of this unparalleled figure of our time, both inside and outside the country.

In his first message regarding our martyred Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his sublime shadow endure), stated: "I had the honor of visiting his body after his martyrdom; what I saw was a mountain of steadfastness, and I heard that he had clenched the fist of his uninjured hand..." 

This "clenched fist," which serves as the official emblem of the farewell to that unparalleled figure of our time, is not merely a symbol; it is the very embodiment of the Father of the Nation’s kind hand – a hand that repeatedly stood firm against Global Arrogance, never trembled, and was never extended except to God.

It is from the heart of this very clenched fist and the surging blood of such a powerful yet oppressed figure that the hearts of freedom-seekers across the world have been stirred into tumult, and the Iranian nation has experienced a new bi’tha [rising up to be present on the scene] – a bit’ha whose continuation must be ensured by raising high the flag of the Front of Truth across the globe, avenging the pure blood of our mujahid and martyred Imam, and building a stronger future for Islamic Iran.

Martyr Khamenei (may God elevate his noble station) attained martyrdom in a bloody war. Such a martyrdom has never been witnessed in war among the scholars of the Imamiyyah (may God be pleased with them) for a figure of his high stature and rank.

In the wake of the surge of this sacred blood, which has sent shockwaves through time and space, the central slogan of this ceremony shall be: "We Must Rise." 

This slogan is the continuation of the very "Uprising for God" [Qiyam Lillah] which, at the dawn of June 4th of this year, was declared by our dear Leader (may his sublime shadow endure) as the foundation of the school of thought of the Great Imam Khomeini and the cherished Khamenei. It is an uprising that began on 15th of Khordad, 1342 AHS [June 5, 1963], bore fruit in Bahman 1357 AHS [February 1979], endured throughout the Era of Resistance, and has now reached a monumental new milestone with the tragic martyrdom of that righteous servant of God.

"We Must Rise" means this blood surges with such intensity that it will permit no rest to any devoted soul. 

"We Must Rise" means the covenant this newly arisen nation has sealed with his blood will be sustained until our final breath.

For this ceremony, titled "Bidding Farewell to the Leader of the Truth‑Seekers of Our Time," a visual identity package has been designed to serve as the foundation for the creation and distribution of all media content, propagational materials, civic and public spatial designs, cultural products, and related programs.

This mourning, however, is not confined to the people of Iran. From the countries of the Resistance Front to the farthest corners of the globe, the free and freedom-loving people of the world are mourning this monumental martyrdom. Inspired by that very school of thought, the Islamic Ummah now chants the divine call: "Arise for God [Qumu Lillah]." This slogan encapsulates the essence of the final guidance and wise messages of our martyred Imam. "Arise for God" is not merely his counsel; it is a renewal of allegiance to his school of thought. It is a declaration to the world that his greatness, faith, and unparalleled courage will endure with even greater power and fortitude.

Through divine grace and the special providence of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his noble reappearance), this farewell shall, God willing, serve as the harbinger of a manifest victory. It marks a historic turning point in the bi’tha of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah as they march toward the bright horizons ahead, under the leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his sublime shadow endure).
