Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim: “Imam Khamenei Restored the Ummah to Islam”

According to Khamenei.ir, on the seventy-fifth day after the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, a ceremony unveiling the book "Hikayat al-Sayyid" was held at Keshvar Dost Street in the presence of Iranian, Arab, and international guests and dignitaries. In a televised message delivered to the event, Ayatollah Isa Qassim reflected on the character and legacy of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Revolution and described today’s conflict as “a battle between the camps of ignorance and faith.”

Ayatollah Qassim stated that Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (pbuh) was among the most distinguished revolutionary personalities, possessing deep awareness, firm resolve, and exceptional strategic capability, and was among those who devoted their lives to the Revolution and its great leader, Imam Khomeini (ra).

He added that the principles of the great and dignified divine Revolution had permeated Imam Khamenei’s entire being, noting that he was fully immersed in the Revolution and possessed sound judgment, wisdom, and tireless dedication in serving its path.

The Bahraini scholar emphasized that after the passing of Imam Khomeini (ra), Imam Khamenei became the rightful successor in leading the victorious Islamic government and successfully completed the revolutionary path established by the founder of the Islamic Republic.

Ayatollah Qassim further stressed that Imam Khamenei worked tirelessly to restore the Islamic Ummah to authentic Islam and preserve the unity of Muslims in accordance with Islamic teachings, righteous upbringing, constructive goals, and successful Islamic governance.

Describing the Islamic Revolution as a guiding and transformative government established at a time when the Ummah had become distant from Islam in both knowledge and practice, he stated that Islam alone guarantees a dignified, secure, and prosperous human life. He added that the Islamic Revolution and Islamic government came to rescue humanity from misery in this world and the hereafter.

The Bahraini Marja' also pointed to the sacrifices made by Imam Khomeini (ra), scholars, and revolutionaries in establishing and protecting the Islamic state, describing those sacrifices as the foundation of divine victories.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Qassim said that the victory of the Islamic Revolution shattered the ambitions and interests of global arrogance and tyranny, noting that no fear compares to the fear imperialist powers hold toward the establishment of a genuine Islamic government—one that serves as a living example of justice, wisdom, security, and human dignity.

He stressed that today’s war is one between the camp of ignorance and the camp of faith, asserting that the camp of ignorance is led by “American tyranny, misguided Zionism, and a Judaism that has deviated from the true path of Prophet Moses (pbuh).”

Ayatollah Qassim added: “At the head of the American leadership stands Pharaoh Trump, and at the head of Zionist leadership stands Pharaoh Netanyahu. Today, they are among the worst of evildoers, the most hostile toward values and sanctities, and the most deeply immersed in bloodshed and defiance against God.”
In contrast, he said, the camp of faith is represented by the broad front of resistance, led foremost by the Islamic Republic and its courageous, faithful, heroic, and wise leadership, which remains the strongest guardian of human dignity, sanctities, and moral values.

The Bahraini Marja' further stated that global arrogance is leading humanity toward two major catastrophes: A material catastrophe and a spiritual catastrophe. In response, he said, the Islamic Resistance Front revived the obligation of jihad in the path of God and the defense of rights and sanctities, thereby offering humanity a path toward salvation from both disasters.

Ayatollah Qassim emphasized that righteous Islamic leadership enabled the forces of Resistance to sincerely dedicate themselves to serving humanity. He added that the honorable positions, unparalleled courage, great sacrifices, and moral integrity of the resistance awakened a powerful sentiment among neutral peoples and elites around the world, demonstrating the greatness of Islam and its ability to cultivate righteous and powerful human beings.

He concluded by stressing that Islam stands as a complete proof for every person who recognizes even a portion of the truth, while noting that this proof is even greater for the Arabs, whose true flourishing and civilizational achievements emerged only after embracing Islam.
