Imam Khamenei’s message of condolence following martyrdom of Hujjat al-Islam Sabahi, Friday Prayer Leader of Kazeroun

The text of the Leader's message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the martyrdom of the respected Friday Prayer Leader of Kazeroun, Hujjat al-Islam Haj Sheikh Mohammad Sabahi (may God’s mercy be upon him).

He was known as an admired, well-liked scholar of the city, endowed with excellent character and conduct, and possessed a people-oriented spirit. The loss of individuals like him is sorrowful.

According to the information provided, the crime was committed by a criminal who had committed crimes against national security. I offer my condolences to his honorable family, admirers, and friends, and I pray for an elevation of his status [in the Hereafter].
