Leader's message of condolence to Dr. Zolghadr
Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei has offered his condolences in a message on the passing of the father of Dr. Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. The text of his message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Dear brother, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr (may God protect and support him),
May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
The news of the passing of your esteemed father has reached us. I would like to offer my condolences. I am hopeful that he will be enveloped in God’s vast mercy, under the gracious shadow of the Masters of these days [the Infallible Imams], may God's blessings and peace be upon them. I also pray for the health, long life, and increased success - both outward and inner - of you and the rest of your bereaved family.
