"Hikayat al-Sayyid": Arabic translation of the martyred Leader's memoirs about his father to be unveiled at Keshvar Dost Street
"Hikayat al-Sayyid," the Arabic translation of the book "Agha's Narrative," which recounts the memoirs of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (ra), about the life of his father, Ayatollah Sayyid Javad Khamenei (ra), will be unveiled on Thursday, May 14, in Tehran, near the site of Imam Khamenei's martyrdom, with attendees from the Arab world.
On the occasion of the 75th day since the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, an unveiling ceremony for the book "Hikayat al-Sayyid," the Arabic translation of "Agha's Narrative," will be held with the participation of Iranian, Arab, and international figures and guests.
The book recounts the life, character, and scholarly and spiritual conduct of Ayatollah Sayyid Javad Khamenei, the father and teacher of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as told by Martyr Khamenei himself. It sheds light on the educational and intellectual roots that shaped the character of the martyred Leader.
To be unveiled near the site where Imam Khamenei was martyred, "Hikayat al-Sayyid" holds a special place in documentary and oral history. It is not merely a family memoir; rather, it offers insight into the social and religious fabric of Iran, the way of life of religious scholars in Iran and Iraq, and the relationship between family upbringing and its role in shaping influential figures in contemporary Iranian history.
"Hikayat al-Sayyid" also presents a vivid and precise portrait of a mentor whose influence on the formation of the martyred Leader's character is described as foundational and decisive. The book articulates values such as asceticism (zuhd), modesty, integrity, religious upbringing, and the lifestyle of Iranian scholars through a personal and documented narrative.
