Funeral prayer and procession of the pure body of the martyred Leader in Najaf

The funeral procession of the pure body of the martyred mujahid Imam, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul), was held from the morning of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in the holy city of Najaf, with the massive presence of mourning Iraqi crowds. Following the funeral procession, Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Taqi Hakim, a prominent Iraqi scholar, led the funeral prayer over the pure body of the martyred Leader of the Revolution at the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (pbuh).
