The Leader's message of condolence following General Khademi's martyrdom

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge [with their lives], and others are waiting [their turn], and they have never changed [their commitment] in the least." (Quran 33:23)

Once again, the US‑Zionist enemy, who has faced repeated defeats in its Imposed War on the Iranian nation and its brave combatants, as well as defeats in its sinister schemes, has resorted to its perennial weapon of Zionist terrorism, assassinating one of the commanders of the country's intelligence and security community. Martyr Major General Sayyid Majid Khademi, who had been quietly struggling on the path of God for decades in the fields of the nation’s security, intelligence, and defense, has attained the blessing of martyrdom. Nonetheless, the unbroken ranks of the combatants and fighters on the path of truth in Islamic Iran, along with the self‑sacrificing Armed Forces, form such a towering, deeply rooted front that terrorism and crime cannot even crack their resolve for jihadi ideals.
I offer my congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of this anonymous, courageous commander to his respected family, his comrades, and the leaders of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, and I pray to Almighty God for his elevated rank [in the Hereafter].
