He who embodied Ashura

Speaking to tens of thousands of youth at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla in April 20, 2000, he declared: "Today, the US or even bigger than the US, thanks to the blessing of the vigilance of a nation like the Iranian people, thanks to the blessing of people’s intellectual awakening, like the understanding of the Iranian nation, and thanks to the blessing of a great Revolution, like the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the US or even bigger than the US, if it’s counting on material power is incapable of imposing on today’s Islamic world, an event like the peace agreement imposed on Imam Hassan (pbuh). If the enemy tries to exert much pressure here, a tragedy like that of Karbala will take place."
