Haim Bresheeth-Zabner to The Right Side of History Medal ceremony:

Unbowed and unbroken: Iran stands true to its principles against a brutal enemy

The Right Side of History Medal was awarded to a group of international activists, artists, and politicians in Tehran on June 9, 2026 — at a ceremony held on Keshvardoost Street, just meters from where Imam Khamenei was martyred.

Professor Haim Bresheeth-Zabner, historian, filmmaker, and scholar of Palestine studies, in a video message sent to the ceremony, said that to be on the right side of history has never been more difficult — and that Iran and its people have been foremost in remembering the suffering of the Palestinians, paying a high price for their humanity while other nations bowed and surrendered to imperial and colonial powers. They alone, he said, stand unbowed and unbroken.
