A freedom-seeking compass from Martyr Khamenei's legacy

The Right Side of History Medal was awarded to a group of international activists, artists, and politicians in Tehran on June 9, 2026 — at a ceremony held on Keshvardoost Street, just meters from where Imam Khamenei was martyred.

The Yemeni cartoonist, Kamal Sharaf, in a video message sent to the ceremony, described the medal as a compass drawn from Martyr Khamenei's legacy — one that distinguishes the right side of history from the wrong, anchored in the cause of Palestine.
