The martyrs' prayers

In the final hours of Ramadan 2019, those present at the Hussainiyah of Imam Khomeini turned to God in prayer.

Among them were: Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, Qasem Soleimani, Mohammad Bagheri, Abdolrahim Mousavi, Hossein Salami, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Mohammad Pakpour, Aziz Nasirzadeh, Alireza Tangsiri, and Majid Khademi — all of whom later attained the blessed rank of martyrdom.
